NSF S-STEM Computing Sciences & Engineering Scholars Application - Jacksonville University

Welcome, Future Phin! We invite you to apply to be one of Jacksonville University's NSF STEM Computing Science & Engineering (CS&E) Scholars. As a NSF STEM CS&E Scholar, you will have access to a dedicated faculty mentor, career readiness and preparation events and consulting, exclusive internship opportunities and industry exposure, and project-based experiential learning opportunities. NSF STEM CS&E Scholars may be eligible for up to $10,000 of scholarship funding in addition to their academic merit scholarship.

This program will require participation in seminars, projects, and career opportunities throughout your 4 years at JU.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a US citizen
PELL 1.5 eligibility (determined by the financial aid office based on your filed FAFSA)
Must have filed the 2024-2025 FAFSA
Major in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA

The CS&E Scholars opportunity is only available to those pursing a degree in Computing Sciences, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Financial Technology, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. The National Science Foundation dictates that scholarships for this program are available based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). In order to be considered for a scholarship, you will need to file the 2023-24 FAFSA.
